Mishka’s Brooklyn store, located at 350 Broadway in Brooklyn New York, will present an exhibition of ten photographs that have been used as album covers by Alexander Binder titled Necromusica. The exhibition will open on April 15th and continue for the next six weeks. An opening reception will be held at the store on Friday, April 15th from 7 to 10pm.

Black Forest born photographer Alexander Binder is not only interested in the visual world of the mystic and the occult but also in the dark side of music. This fascination with drone metal, dark ambient, melancholic rock and electro-infused gothic new wave led to a growing series of collaborations with international underground music acts in the last years. His photos have been used as cover artwork and album art for “The Present Moment”, “Vaura”, “Black Mountain Transmitter” and labels like Utech Records, Aurora Borealis, Auris Apothecary, Vlas Vegas and Desire Records.
